Hoping someone has some information about this. My Company offers both a variable annuity (403b) as well as a straight mutual Fund option 403(b)7. I have been told the variable annuity has extra fees associated with it. My company matches $.25 on the dolar up to 4% of my salary with either option. I am foolishly thinking of starting a 403(b)7 option. What are the benefits or drawbacks and is this a foolish move to boost my retirement? Any help would be appreciated.
