I have contacted several top venture cap firms regarding my patent-pending idea for an internet-based business. My patent attorney prepared a non-disclosure agreement, however none of the firms are willing to sign any non-disclosure agreement as a matter of policy. My patent attorney says "don't use those firms". Has anyone been here? How do I go about finding a company who will sign the paperwork? Where do I go from here?

Frustrated with a Great Idea...

Try http://www.privateequity.com - it lists all investment banks & venture capital companies from a to z - must be over 2,600 of them!
In fact; I saw a site called EZInfoFind.com that is selling a list of 41,000 funders which they probably took from PrivateEquity.com:)

You can also try http://www.moneycafe.com/ which lists every kind of financial company by state, including venture.
