Viking,

This is big problem for JST—they lack the ability to properly forecast their sales and profit expectations. This is the same problem that they had a few years ago. I believe that investors faith in a company takes a big hit when guidance is so drastically reduced from one quarter to the next.

I take comfort knowing that you have followed JST for a few years, and are confident enough to add to your holdings at this price.
I have 2 concerns:
1. the integrity of management
2. the 'slowdown' in China - contributing to cancellation of orders, non-payment of accounts receivable, and diminished future sales.

current rationalizations:
(1) blind faith - bolstered by fellow Fool investors
(2) we'll see soon enough :)
