I think I mentioned before that I have a vintage Star D tripod (Davidson). It's very old. Actually, it's 1poormom's but she gave it to me to check out.

It is very similar to this one, except black with silver trim (instead of blue with silver).

Is something like this of any interest for collectors? Anyone? It works, but is very basic, so probably not of great interest from a practical standpoint. 1poormom is hoping this might qualify as one of those 'gems' that those guys on Discovery Channel (I think) find in peoples' attics.

Or maybe it's best to give to Goodwill...
