Hi all,

Got my Virginia state refund today - well, part of it at least.

They deducted for last year's tax due amount - which was in fact paid, and I actually know why they think it is unpaid, so that is at least a good thing. I'll be making phone calls this week.

My question is - I'd like to be able to go ahead and cash the check that they did sent, but I am worried that cashing it would indicate some acceptance of the amount they deducted, which I do NOT accept!

Anyone know?
