VNR, Vanguard Natural Resources is not an MLP, because it has voting rights and no general partner. From my reading, the lack of a general partner is a plus for stockholders.

It's distributions are treated as partnership, and as such distributes K-1s, which it will do via the website.

It has outperformed KMP and LINE over a number of time intervals, and in some cases EVEP (these three are my current MLPs).

It's business is in buying up marginal fields at a discount and turning them around.

I'm intrigued, maybe worth taking a look at.

And kudos to the guy who started the board. This has the potential to rival REIT.
