Vyvanse is my current med and I highly reccommend.

Been on both Concerta and Adderall XR (and 4 or 5 others + others that never made it to market). I think Adderall XR went better for me.

But, really... these vary from person to person and I have been taken off 1 med and put onto another med because of how my life was going in terms of stress, life events and I started reacting differently over-time to the same med.

I like to call it a "chemistry experiment" in progress on my brain.

So, please don't look for the 1 med that you will stay on for 5 to 10 yrs. In my experience - it just does not work that way and better meds allways come out (eventually).

Not sure about the costs. Again, I almost allways get free coupons from my doc before switching and both the effectiveness and cost has to be worth it to switch.

Are you seeing a general MD or a Psychiatrist?

good luck
SD
