talking the talk is an often used phrase these days, usually in the current discussion on the war and family values and such.Today I learned that those grieving folks in Pa. the Amish not only invited the family of the killer of their children to one of the funerals but also conveyed their condolences to the Roberts family. They have also sought donations for the family's assistance.I have always admired the Amish for living their lives as they see fit in our modern world. They never had to go back to the land, they never left it.And yes, I've heard of the scandals within their community but they're only human like us. All of us have to deal with the far outs in our own community. They just want to live a peaceful life and share that with their children. Pretty much what everyone on this earth wants. They're not out there exploiting technology to share their message and convert the world to their way of seeing things.I finally now understand the saying that "it's the Christian thing to do."When they say it, they really mean it. Not just empty words. Not a bumper sticker.bigpix
