Good, looks like there are some other brave souls holding this one. One thing I have noticed is that some other message boards YAHOO and Raging Bull have picked up quite a bit talking about AMES.

One thing that I did note on one of the other message boards was that someone thought that Walmart was experimenting with a smaller version of a store (similiar to Ames) in Arkansas with an eye on moving into the Northeast eventually. I guess you take this kind of information with a grain of salt.

Anyway, if this is true, it would be interesting on how this would play out for Ames (i.e. would Walmart try to move in next to Ames and compete directly against the current Ames customer base or maybe want to acquire Ames?)

Interested to see if anyone else out there has heard about whether Walmart is experimenting with a smaller version of a store.
