A few days ago I saw a message at http://boards.fool.com/Message.asp?mid=14249919
about a software bug in a wash sale generating software program.

FIRST, I do feel bad having recommended this particular software which I have used for the last two or three years, and finding out it calculated certain wash sales incorrectly.

SECOND, over the past few days, I have had contact with the author and this morning he informed me that this bug had been found and corrected.

Here is an excerpt of his message:
The problem was inadvertently introduced into our
program when we added some enhancements a couple of
versions back. It caused wash sales not to be fully
recognized when the proration is spread across
multiple transactions.

He does appologize to each of you about the inconveneince of this error and invites you to download the revised version 3.00 from his website at www.washsales.com
