They have a no annual fee visa (rate is prime + 4.75%). But they rebate 1% of your purchases to your Waterhouse Brokerage account. Also, they have a teaser of 6.9% for 6 months. But if you pay off your balances it looks like a good deal to me.
Waterhouse offers their affinity card in both Visa and Mastercard versions. I have the Mastercard (since my Waterhouse check/debit card is a Visa card). I never carry a balance, don't do the frequent-flyer thing, and won't necessarily purchase a new car when my existing one dies, so this is the perfect card for me - 1% cash back at the end of every year.Best wishes,John
Only bad thing is that you cannot download the statement into Money or Quicken. I therefore use discover and where it won't work then Waterhouse Visa. I prefer this over frequent fliers since then you need to atlead have 25K to get a ticket, here you get hard cash and do anything.
