We don't actually have water yet(we have a well), but the city will be installing a water system by next year and everyone has the opportunity to sign up early pay less ($156) for the meter and I would think some must go to actual installation. If you don't sign up early it costs $1500. This is a one time bill in the amt. of 156. Yes I have a well. Don't know what to say here about choosing city water. Just thought it best.

Using a well means that you must maintain it and periodically test the water. If you have the option of city water, it means that subdivisions are close and the quality and availability of well water is threatened. Water table levels are dropping in many areas.

If you pay the installation fee, must you sign up for water service immediately?
