We have high speed internet. Its around 90 a month.Gone. Basic packages (and trust me, Facebook does not require anything more than 3Mbit AT MOST!!!) can be had for as little as $20/mo. AT&T DOES offer what's called "direct" service, which is DSL without the landline. In fact, there isn't crap out there that "requires" super high speed unless you're streaming video off Hulu, Netflix, or the like. DW and I were doing just fine on a 6Mb line, and she's constantly streaming stuff from CCTV +$70Even Netflix is watchable at 3mbit. Their standard definition content streams at 1mbit. I had not problem watching it with 3mbit DSL.
