We traded in DW's '04 for an '11.

I don't know what differences were due to the change in year versus moving up from the base model (to a "four").

I didn't do any detailed study comparing the two, but just thought DW deserved a better car as she commutes 50mi each workday and sometimes takes the car on long trips. All I did was honor her request for another Prius and then hunted for the best deal I could find.

BTW, we are seeing a number of off-lease 2010's showing up locally and there are some good deals out there.

P.S. The only real comparison we did was look at the latest Prius and compare it to the 2010. The only thing obvious to us was that the newer Prius had a USB input for the sound system.
