We would like to do all the carpet in the same COLOR but in different PILE. We were thinking about something very plush and cozy in the bedroom, a medium to large berber in the living room, and a very small berber in the office (something chairs would roll over).
Is it possible to get the same carpet in 3 different styles? Would anyone like to give me suggestions of why I should or shouldn't go that route?

In the world of home decor, I think anything is possible for the right price. :-D

I'm sure that you could get same/similar color if you chose all 3 carpets from the same manufacturer. Your best bet for preliminary research might be to go to Home Depot and look at their different carpet samples.

My only hesitation to your plan would be resale value. Carpeting is more long-lived than a funky paint job. Future buyers may object to having multiple kinds of carpet, especially if one bedroom has plush carpet, but not another.
