These sites are more about the actual flying part then the cheap airfares, but I'll post them here anyway.

Have you ever wondered what the best seat on your plane is?
http://www.seatguru.com has a listing of what the best and worst seats are for coach, business, and first class on aircraft for American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, United, and US Air.

Although many flights no longer have meal service, longer flight still do. With some airline now providing meals at an extra cost in the cabin, a little research into the meals may be in order. http://www.airlinemeals.net has reviews and pictures of meals from flights all over the world. It actaully amazed me that so many people take pictures of thier airline meals. TIP: Look under America West airlines for pictures of thier new "Buy On Board Lunch"

Do you want to track the progress of a flight? These three sites offer that ability.

What kind of delays are there at the airport? The FAA's Air Traffic Control System Command center provided Real-time Airport Status for the air traffic control system in the US.
