Welcome Canucks and others interested in Canadian investments. Jeez, all this "technical stuff" obsession. Looking for a magic bullet! The TSE has been great the past two months. Undervalued stocks (relative to US issues) and currency.Unfortunately that leads to a lotta buyouts, such as MacMillan Bloedel by Weyerhauser (US).The TSE is much harder to "learn" than NASDQ or NYSE. But it has been outperforming NYSE lately.I became interested in the TSE as I "maxed out" on foreign content.Returns the past month has been great, using principles of The Motley Fool.I am a retired dentist (young). So I have no vested interest. Just helping others. I'd like to hear from Canadian Fools, and perhaps create a "network" to collaborate. I really like wearing my Fool Cap in Edmonton.Wull, 40% return on the TSE the past six months is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick! I sure like NASDAQ stocks tho. Please reply to firstname.lastname@example.orgInvesting is the most fun I ever have had. I have a research background via academics, but this activity has none of the politics I contended with in a university. It is fun!mycroft
