Well, a general PoA means you can sign and do anything legally in his name.Some PoAs are limited like for only dealing with a car or only dealing with medical issues. They can also have a time limit on them.When I was in the military, it was pretty standard for us to give PoA to a spouse or trusted other person to handle our bills and such while we were deployed. I always put a time limit on them so that it was only for the duration of the deployment.Ishtar
