Well actually, there is no reason for you to upgrade from 2003. I used 1999 version until I bought the 2004. The only reason I bought is was I didn't own the 1999 version (it was my mother's copy, she now lives in another state) and I had to reinstall. I won't buy another copy unless I have to when I buy a computer running Vista instead of Windows XP. Deluxe has the 401k and IRA program, the planning program, and some extra tax stuff. Lara Amber
