Well after crunching the numbers, my annuity has slightly beaten the S&P while my wife has blown it away (heavier international holdings). So I think I will just do a little adjusting and let it sit until I surrender charge goes away. I'm just frustrated that I have about $30k worth of buying power that I can't use or even contribute to.

Now we have to decide whether to increase our 457 plan contributions or open new Roth's whereas our AGI is still below the contribution limits (if I understand correctly).
