Well, funny thing about all the reviews about India are based on where you goto talk to people.

For example, every columnist has gone to tech hubs like bangalore, chennai and hyderabad when talking about how technology and services is going to lead the country to superpower status and cure all the evils. And, if they want to talk to politics, they want to talk to people sitting in Delhi.

All the areas other these cities is always considered as 'oh!! that other problem..'.

I think there is a huge cultural and economical disparity between the tech nology cities and the real india. It is easy to get caught up in the coca-colas and pizzas of Bangalore and completely the dirty water and malnutrition in the village next to it.

Don't take it as if I am not proud of being from India and that I don't see a rosy future, but there is a lot that we as Indians need to do to get to the point where we want to.

Foremost of these tasks would probably include feeling a pride for the country and need for innovation.

hmm.. hard brake in my thoughts. Will continue here as soon as I can
