Well, I can see how Duck may not be happy. Happy with the customer service from CompUSA, sure. But not happy to be without his Mini for 5 days and not sure if this will really fix his problems. If it's from overheating - why? Will it overheat again? Is this a systemic problem or is it a lemon? When making a switch - especially one that you may have been skeptical of to begin with - most folks are going to be sensitive to everything. Certainly having to send it back after just a few weeks isn't going to instill a whole lot of positive vibes.

I know it doesn't help Duck, but it makes me glad that I've not had similar problems with any of the 4 Macs I've owned in my life thus far. (Performa, Motorola clone, G3 PowerMac, Intel iMac). My Dell experience isn't quite as stellar - 1 out of 4 had intermittant glitches related to memory causing random BSODs and it eventually died a slow death.
