Well, I can't advise you whether to buy or sell.

I have the company in their DRIP plan and hopefully when they merge, the plan will continue, so that I can add to my holdings with OCPs (optional cash payments) and reinvest the dividends.

Most often, after a big announcement like this, it is too late to make a quick buck.

I am a long term investor, not a trader, and I hold for at least 5-10 years, and in many cases, much longer. Most of my portfolio consists of blue chip winners with dividends and I use the DRIP programs to invest.
