well I'm glad they have a new Pope. He's a Jesuit who is used to living in spare accommodations, simple lifestyle in other words and St. Francis fits in nicely with that.

He rides the bus. I like that.

My concern would be his age, he's 76, so that leaves a relatively short time for him to do his work before his mind and body starts to falter. I think they should get someone in their 50's or at least low 60's...but I'm no Cardinal.

Well, his age simply means there is very little time left. According to St. Malachy, this is the very last Pope, who "shall feed the sheep amid Great Tribulation", and at the end of his reign comes the destruction of Rome and the Great Judgment Day.

Nostradamus also had a prophecy that the last Pope would be forced to flee Rome at some point... I'm going to have to go look that one up again... I'm wondering if it might possibly be due to a Muslim invasion?
