Hope an engineer can help. Had a new well drilled and trying to figure depth to top of water. I dropped a small pebble down the hole and it took 12 seconds to hit the water. How far is it to the water?
I also put a nut for weight and a bobber down the well to try to determine the depth and it seems to be about 220' but there is some stretch to consider in the fishing line.
In order to configure the pump/motor, this info is needed and I'm no physics expert.

Thanks-Buddi
