On Highway 70 between Raleigh and Durham, near the airport, so it might be out of your way if you're going to or through the city.2) 42nd Street Oyster Bar: http://www.42ndstoysterbar.com/ Love it. If you want seafood, here is where you want to go. A real landmark in downtown Raleigh.3) Tir Na Nog: http://www.tnnirishpub.com/ I haven't been there personally, but have heard is good.4) The Pit: http://www.thepit-raleigh.com/ Haven't been here either, but I'm sure it's good (I've been to a lot of similar places), and NC barbecue is like fireworks for your taste buds.
