Well, why is it an issue? If he's got good grades in there, is it just because the sleeping is a distraction to other students?

Anywhoser, more sleep at night might not be the answer - that might just be his natural Mid Day Slump time, and he's not able to overcome the sleepies lately. M'self, I am able to power through my slump during the week most of the time, but on the weekends and the occasional lunch hour that I can find a quiet spot? I'm out.

Could he power eat and then power nap at lunch? Or even sleep them shove some food in his mouth on the way to class? Is there a "study hall" or other random period during the day that he could take a 20 minute snooze and get over the hump?

Easiest thing I can think to try, as it's not caffeine and is technically a vitamin: have him take a Super B before eating his lunch. Should kick in before he's done eating, and then Viola, no mid-afternoon snooze.

peace & neon pee in the afternoon
