Well written as your thoughts are, it still reminds me of our parents when we heard over and over again, "why, when I was a kid .... " But even a doubter has to admit that things really are changing faster than ever. Technology advancements reportedly increase on an exponential scale. We are at the part of the curve where the difference between the advancements and a vertical line pointing up, are almost one and the same. Advancements on top of advancements, day after day, week after week and year after year. When the population reaches 10 billion, I suspect we'll need all those advancements we can make.

I turned 60 in November, so I'm not sure I want to be around in 40 years. I guess if I'm healthy and not too mentally unbalanced by then (and how will they undo my current imbalance?) I might vote to stay around awhile longer. And if there's any way the universe will allow it, I will be watching the earthlings and revel in every new and wondrous development. And hope they don't blow themselves up.

Now I'm really feeling old. Excited for the future, but old nonetheless.

Must be nap time. There is no substitute for a good, relaxing nap. The poor robots are missing out on one of the best things on earth. :)
