Went last year, and not for the first time. I just bought a ticket to be too hot and bored. Wasted money on overpriced bakla-blah. I don't know if they had a bad year, or I was in a bad mood.

The heat was the thing that I didn’t like when I used to go 20 or 19 years ago. I also didn’t like having to buy a ticket to get in and then have to buy food. We used to like to go down to “Lagniappe on the Bayou” in Chauvin and also “The Sauce Piquante Festival” in Raceland. It didn’t cost anything to get in and they were a lot of fun wid all dem local folks, yes.
;-)
