We're gonna differ on this one. An American should NEVER have to sacrifice their rights on the say so of a "well-informed high level administration official". A lot of blood has been spilled in the past to guarantee our rights. We should NEVER cede rights over expediency.I will spare you the sacrifices freedom for security quote.My thinking is along the lines of a John Lynn Walker. If you're an American citizen fighting with/assisting/etc the enemy, IMHO you have given up your American citizenship and all the right and protections that go with it.Probably our biggest difference of opinion will be that I'm saying we are in a chronic state of war, thus the expediency of the execution in my argument. You are probably arguing that this is not a war time situation. I think we both have convincing arguments.JLC
