What do the readers think of the latest editions of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn - Twain's Classics - that have been edited to remove the ubiquitous "N" word

Plain stupid. If they are concerned about, add a preface explaining how it is used in it's historical context and explaining why it is no longer appropriate. Pretending it was never there is just stupid.
