I just visited this site for the first time. I was reading the articles on IRA's and I ran across this statement, "remember that you can put just about anything you want into an IRA account." Does that include real estate? My husband and I want to invest in real estate. Is there a way to make at least a portion of the funds we invest tax deferred? Also, we are self-employed/sole proprietors? Can we do a SIMPLE IRA or is that only for corporations? Is the $6000 limit tax deferred or only a portion of it?
