I may have done a very foolish thing indeed. Without having first come to the Motley Fool, I signed up for my employers 401K and allocated my contributions over four or five funds other than the S&P 500 Index Fund that is available for my 401K. Then I happened to surf to the Motley Fool and read all about what I should do with my 401K. Let me get this straight. To be Foolish, I need to ignore all those other enticing fancy sounding funds and allocated 100% of my contributions to the S&P 500 Index fund? Have I got that right? Anybody. Thanks from a new Fool.
