Greetings Fools!

Just in case you don't know me, I'm a fairly long term Fool living in the Northern Virginia area. I've owned a pistol for about two and a half years now, and I've really come to enjoy going down to the range and punching holes in paper. It's just enjoyable to me.

It can also be rather expensive.

So as a frequent poster to the boards, I'm wondering: with whom among Fooldom could I speak about this hobby. I'm sitting here thinking to myself, perhaps there are other Fools out there like myself who would like to discuss items such as:

   • What ways have I found to save money on my gun(s)?
   • Hunting Stories
   • Competitive Shooting (SASS/Cowboy Matches, IDPA, NRA Action Shooting, Air Gun, Skeet Shooting, or anything else that comes down the pike).
   • Accessorizing. Gun safes/locks? Safe Storage? Cleaning? Questions & Answers?
   • Reloading
   • Black Powder / Gunsmithing

I'm certainly not the end-all and be-all in investing. That's one reason I come to the Motley Fool. I'm also not the end-all or be-all in target shooting. With any luck, there will be enough of us on this board to represent a range of various talents and experiences in which we can discuss target shooting and related issues.

Welcome, and please don't hesitate to speak up or introduce yourselves.
