what in the world is there to do ...

Well, if you like mountain climbing, RI probably
has some of the easiest mountain climbing anywhere
in the world.

There aren't any major cities in RI. And most people
probably wish that some of the minor cities didn't
exist. Most people try to steer clear of Providence.

RI is a well kept secret. The quality of live is
superb. Ask your question again about 15 years from
now when you have a spouse and a couple kids and
have been commuting an hour each way to a job in
some major city. You will laugh at yourself.

Security, great universities, theatre, golf, sailing,
hospitals, amtrak, ocean, bike trails, some great
public school departments, seafood, the weirdest
weather, great government corruption, Pawtucket Red
Sox, and on and on. RI ranks right up there with the
Smokey Mountain region and Northern California.
