What is amusing is the way they're willing to sue farmers who never planted their seeds, but wound up with them mixed into their crop anyway.

iirc, the same thing has happened in the US. The farmer next door plants Monsanto seed and the wind carries the pollen over to the conventional corn, so the farmer ends up "infringing" the Monsanto patent.
