This board is about Takeovers and Takeover candidates.

Obviously, a takeover typically results in a rapidly increasing stock price.

Laloggia's excellent book, The Superstock Investor, points out some indications that a company is going to be subject to a takeover. You really should buy it.

While I do have access to Laloggia's newsletter, I will not be putting his stock picks up here. After all, the guy is entitled to get paid for his work.

That said, there are companies out there that show the criteria for a takeover. IF a company shows the criteria, and is mentioned on this board, and that company also appears in his newsletter, that's fair game. I merely suggest that folks DO NOT mention a stock as being from his newsletter.....

Anyway, I don't even know if I will tell many folks about this board. I would like to avoid the trolls and losers that seem to inhabit the boards nowadays.

The value of this board to me will be to see how good I am at picking takeover targets. So I guess it will at least serve as a record.....

Oh, and please, click on some ads here at the Fool. That is how they make their money, and it isn't too much to ask!
