I have a trust fund made up with many Stock bought by my father 20 yrs ago. The trust pays out 6% each year, this year stocks have to be sold to meet the 6% yearly pay out. As I begin to manage this account can I expect to earn 6% yearly on my own so the principle remains. Or do I need a financial adviser to handle this ?
