Whatever you decide, just be aware that there's no such thing as an HDTV antenna. That's a marketing buzzword with no reality. You need to check antennaweb (or similar) and make sure you know what frequencies the stations you care about are transmitting on. And then get an antenna to match. Most are UHF, so it'll be a UHF antenna you want (usually labeled as HDTV). But you might need a VHF antenna. IOW, don't pay extra for an antenna labeled HDTV, if something else just labeled UHF will work.joe
