It's been repeatedly suggested that I enroll in ad-sense or some other google related income producing program.
Since my "website" is not exactly a professional production, but just a place where I upload single files
(jpg, gif, an occasional wmv or flv) of a hopefully humorous nature, people don't visit it unless lead
there by a posted link, like my weekly caption challenges, http://dotcomjoe.com/caption615
And if you just come across the home page, there's not much there to look at.

Occasionally, though, something I post goes viral and other websites link to the file instead of
stealing it and posting it on their own. A good example of this is a small .gif file of roughly
1.4MB I posted two days ago has now received 8,500 hits, and quickly used up a half month of bandwidth
allocation, so I was forced to take it down. My average month's stats are:

28,000 Unique visitors
55,000 Visits
73,000 pages
81,000 Hits

So the questions are:

1. Are the above numbers worthy of considering ad-sense or something of a similar nature?

2. Can ad-sense or something else be workable on such a rudimentary website, or would I have to
redesign it to make the files more accessible?
