When considering a retirement city, which should weigh more heavily? Why?

Well, they both take money going out of your pocket, so I thingk the combination of the two would be the most important. You also need to add in sales tax. For some states/areas within a state, like Austin, I have seen as high as 8.25%. For others, it's 0%.
