That's pretty cool. I'm especially proud to have earned the "Biggest Blowout" medal.
About the same time the kids in my local school district started getting a 'Golden Honor' plaque for a 92 average. In middle school.I am not making this up.But what about those kids who only get an 88 in 8th Grade History?Don't worry! They get a 'Silver Star' plaque or something equally vomitous.
I don't know about your school, but a 92 average in our school is a good thing.
I don't know about your school, but a 92 average in our school is a good thing. It is!Now, in your school district, do you have a special night that parents [have to] attend so that l2-yr old Susie can get an actual award for getting an 'A-' in JrHigh Civics?I honestly find this laughable to have an actual award ceremony that hands out plaques for what every kid in this district is more than capable of doing [of course many are too lazy to do so, but nonetheless.]And awards for getting an 88 is beyond absurd. I feel like it's Bizarro World. This is not a HS career average of 92+, which, I suppose, is worth congratulating in some fashion near graduation [or at] if they took difficult classes. JMHO and ymmv.
I personally didn't pay attention. "You Got a Medal"- Well Anyway......77
