When I was 18 1/2 years old I was military trained and waiting for orders to take me to south east Asia-Vietnam. While waiting for orders I found that my military pay would not buy all I could drink. However, I learned that by buying a beer in certain bars and nursing it slowly that it was only a matter of time before an older woman offered to help me out. I met several wonderful older women in this manner. I often think of them fondly as some of my favorite teachers. They did not scar me for life.

What happened to me after I got my orders and left for my destination was another matter. I think we should put all the people who send children to war in jail.
