When my older son joined, I was delighted to find out about a book with all the merit badge requirements. It's called "Boy Scout Requirements." This was in addition to the handbook and the individual merit badge pamphlets. Since no one in our Troop seemed to think to tell new parents about this book, I try to tell everyone who might be new to Scouting. In the DC area, it's about $3.50-$4 and can be ordered through the catalog (1-800-323-0732 or www.bsa.scouting.org, item X33215C), if it's not available in local scout shops.Yep! I picked it up earlier this year. My guy is up to First Class now. He probably has earned or partly earned a few other badges. I'll have to go over the book again. He's in a great troop. They camp 10 times a year (skip Nov & Dec), and alternate years at the local Council camp and a High Adventure. Always ;-)Hunzi
