...when people have a choice between working at Darden or somewhere else, they will probably choose to work elsewhere--especially if they get healthcare covered.

Maybe patrons at their restaurants will increase their tips from 15-20% to 25-33%.

Two different Darden waiters we have gotten to know over the years have told us that Red Lobster servers make better tip money than any other restaurant - even better than at upscale fine dining restaurants (at least in our neck of the woods).

;-)

P.S. I happen to like Darden Restaurants. Their food is consistent - like McDonalds - no matter where you go, you know what you're getting.
