I have a number of EE bonds that are at maturity. But isn't there some trick to when to cash them in -- like at the start of the month or the end of the the month or every six months or something? I seem to recall reading some message by a woman who lost a lot of interest by cahing hers in one day, where she would have gained a lot by waiting one more day (and she had held it to maturity).
