When we moved into this house I was 5 months pregnant and didn't want to worry about the kids getting into this stuff so I put it in cubboards up next to the sink in the kitchen and the bathroom cleaners on a high shelf in the linen closet.

I kept everything in the garage or basement when my little guy was small. The house I'm in now has so little storage space that I resorted back to the undersink thing. That just got me to thinking: no one with babies ever visits us - the children are all my son's age! I'm glad you brought that up, I'll have to remember it if I ever entertain someone with small children!

My ideal cleaning supply storage would be to keep all my cleaning supplies in their own pantry along with broom, mop and vacuum, and have one pantry for each floor, but we have to wait for the remodel before I get any room to do that. I'm thinking of buying one of those caddy thingies with the handle in the middle to help store stuff undersink for the time being.
