**real option value is a standard concept to introduce when you can't explain the high market value of a stock you are in love with and hold. If you can't explain the market value of a stock you don't hold it has little real option value. real option value is also the inverse of Buffett's margin of safety. Sometimes real option value is another name for bubble.
