Which is why I was wondering earlier about US corporations doing what they can (and reaping the benefits while they last) to equalize the disparity of economic situations between us and Mexico.

I believe wages that can sustain a large middle class can only be GOOD for business in a country. I further believe the Mexican human and natural rescources could easily produce a large middle class. I also believe there has been no incentive to do so in Mexico.

It could be FORCED. I also believe that.

The Mexican government could push for more education and more industrialization in their country, but don't.

I don't know why, I suppose it's because they never had to.

What they need is some simple competition.

Competition for the services of their labor force.

Next thing ya know, they'll have to start paying decent wages.
