While your investment choices are greatly expanded, your annual expenses just took a big bump.

With an IRA, I can keep socking money away. With the TIAA-CREF 401k, I couldn't. Also, when you have a certain amount of money invested with Fidelity (DH has a 401k with them), you are exempt from many fees. I understand the expense ratios in the mutual funds may be higher, but it's worth it for the other reasons stated above.
